My name is Rotem. I ride a Yamaha WRF250. Its kind of like bring an alcoholic….and hence an appropriate introduction ( like an AA meeting).
I bought my first motorbike when I was 16 (a Yamaha DT50) and after this I rode a Honda XR600. At 22, when Itraveled South America, I had to sell my bike. That marked the beginning ofa7year riding drought ( because I could not afford a bike during university).
When I immigrated to Australia with my wife, I did so ON CONDITION, that I could spend one day of the weekend exploring the Australian outback….
And that’s exactly what I do. I have found a small group of riding mates, and we spend our free time in off road areas around NSW. The riding here is absolutely amazing -every ride is a new adventure, the experiences giving me so much joy and so many stories.
The only downside is that I have struggled to find the “heart” of the riding community. So I decided to launch this website, to reach out to all the motorcycle riders in Australia and try and create a community. I would like this website to become a hub of information sharing about off-road riding !!
